Apple Health

Only the data you authorize

Grant access by data type, with source and last-sample context preserved.

Up to 28 days

A baseline built around you

Coverage comes from valid days, not a population average presented as your status.

No guessing

Missing evidence stays visible

Insufficient data is marked as building or unavailable, with a path to add context.

4 time horizons

Insights become actions

From this moment through the next 7 days, guidance updates with new data and check-ins.

VitalAgent

From health data to an explainable next step.

VitalAgent is Health Data for AI plus adaptive Now and Today guidance on iPhone: it turns authorized Apple Health records into structured context for a model you choose, then shows evidence-aware next steps.

How it works

On-device logic first builds personal baselines and checks coverage. You decide whether a relevant summary is used with a model you choose. MCP is one optional open connection; it does not replace Apple Health authorization, local analysis, or in-app guidance.

Who it is for

It is for people who want to understand their own sleep, heart rate, HRV, activity, and workout records and use that context to plan activity and recovery.

Product boundary

VitalAgent does not diagnose medical conditions or replace a clinician.

Apple Health guides

Understand the signal before acting on it.

Short, evidence-bounded guides to HRV, recovery, and sleep—built around personal trends, visible coverage, and honest uncertainty.

From permission to action

Every insight has a path you can inspect.

VitalAgent does not hide a pile of metrics behind a mysterious score. It keeps coverage, timing, and evidence visible so you know where guidance came from—and when to stay conservative.

01

Authorize Apple Health

VitalAgent explains the purpose first; you choose which data types it may read.

Change permissions anytime in system settings
02

Organize up to 28 days

Build a local day-by-day archive and calculate valid days and coverage for each metric.

Partial data does not block other usable metrics
03

Interpret against your baseline

Combine current signals, recent trends, and your check-in, with evidence and confidence shown.

No placeholder values to manufacture an answer
04

Get time-specific actions

See what matters and what to do now, today, tomorrow, and over the next 7 days.

New samples or a new check-in can change the recommendation

Data honesty

Missing evidence stays visible

On-device logic first builds personal baselines and checks coverage. You decide whether a relevant summary is used with a model you choose. MCP is one optional open connection; it does not replace Apple Health authorization, local analysis, or in-app guidance.

  • Initial setup organizes up to 28 complete days and reports coverage per metric.
  • Guidance is organized around now, today, tomorrow, and the next 7 days.
  • Each interpretation can expose its evidence, timestamp, and confidence.
  • A subjective check-in calibrates guidance beyond sensor data alone.

Capabilities

Trust is part of the product, not a footnote.

Every layer—from reading data to expressing an action—keeps its boundaries visible: say only what the evidence supports, and show uncertainty when it matters.

HK

01 · DATA IN

Authorized Apple Health access

Bring together the activity, sleep, heart rate, HRV, workout, and other records you allow, with timing and availability preserved.
28

02 · PERSONAL CONTEXT

A baseline of up to 28 days

Organize recent records by valid day and report coverage per metric. If a baseline is not ready, VitalAgent keeps learning instead of forcing a result.

03 · ACTION VIEW

Now, today, tomorrow, 7 days

Create actions and re-check conditions for each horizon instead of using one generic recommendation for every situation.

04 · EXPLAINABILITY

Evidence and confidence

See which metrics contributed, how fresh and available they are, and how much confidence the current action carries.
+

05 · HUMAN CONTEXT

Subjective check-ins

Include fatigue, soreness, illness, and how you feel. If subjective and sensor signals conflict, guidance can take the safer branch.

06 · DATA HONESTY

No guessing when data is missing

No readable sample means unavailable or baseline in progress—not a normal-looking result filled with defaults.
AI

07 · INTELLIGENCE BOUNDARY

Deterministic local analysis + optional cloud models

Core actions can come from on-device rules. Cloud models enhance explanations and conversations only when you choose them and grant separate consent.

08 · ACCESSIBLE UNDERSTANDING

A five-language website and health briefings

Use Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Arabic, or Spanish, with guidance available to read or hear.

09 · LONGITUDINAL RECORD

A local health archive

Keep baseline and yearly summaries on your device, so continuity does not require a cloud account.
MCP

10 · FOR BUILDERS

Open connections through MCP

MCP is one optional way to connect structured summaries to compatible AI tools. It does not replace Apple Health authorization, on-device analysis, or Now and Today guidance; enable it manually only on a trusted network.

Privacy is not an add-on

You stay in control of your body data.

VitalAgent explains permissions, where computation happens, and the cloud-data boundary separately. Local capabilities do not require a third-party model connection.

On-device first
01

Permission by data type

You choose which Apple Health data is readable and can change access anytime in system settings.

02

Local analysis first

Personal baselines, coverage checks, and deterministic guidance can run on your device.

03

A separate choice for cloud models

Before a cloud feature is used, VitalAgent explains the relevant data boundary and asks for separate consent. Keep cloud features off to continue with available local analysis.

04

Connections can be stopped

Cloud models, cloud speech, and other connections are optional. Turn them off and continue using available local features.

Your health archive is stored by default in the app sandbox. Optional cloud services may process relevant summaries; review the in-app disclosure before enabling a connection.

FAQ

What you may want to know before you start.

Direct answers about data, baselines, AI, and product boundaries.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. An iPhone can contribute steps, activity, and other records to Apple Health. An Apple Watch often provides more continuous heart rate, HRV, sleep, and workout data. VitalAgent uses only what is actually readable.

What happens if data is missing or I grant only partial access?

Usable modules keep working. Metrics without enough evidence show unavailable or baseline in progress and explain what is missing. VitalAgent does not fill gaps with defaults or treat a completed permission prompt as proof that every data type is connected.

Why organize up to 28 days of records?

Recent history puts today's change in your own context. Each metric independently checks whether it has enough valid days for a baseline. You can use VitalAgent with fewer than 28 days, but some conclusions will remain conservative or wait for more data.

Can VitalAgent provide a medical diagnosis?

No. VitalAgent is a health and fitness information tool. It does not diagnose disease or replace a clinician, emergency service, or professional medical advice. Contact a qualified medical professional if you feel unwell or are concerned about an abnormal result.

Is my health data automatically sent to a cloud AI?

Local analysis does not require a cloud model. Before you enable a cloud explanation or conversation, VitalAgent explains the relevant data boundary and asks for separate consent. Keep cloud features off to continue with available local analysis.
